Japan Almanac is a seasonal editorial publication about Japan through the calendar year, using Hanafuda's 12-month, 48-card structure as a cultural lens.

The publication covers seasons, nature, festivals, symbols, material culture, food, and the flower cards that connect the year. Japan Almanac and Koi-Koi are produced by the same independent studio.
